Dream
1. a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.
I’ve heard and read about people dreaming about their departed loved ones. Their dreams were vivid and feels more real than the usual. I’ve been waiting for this dream for a year now and I had it this week. Finally.
He was wearing the light blue long-sleeved shirt that I love on him. His face was happy and radiant, his smile reaching his eyes. Just thinking about it now is making me smile. I thought I’d wake up sobbing after dreaming about it but on the contrary, I woke up with a sense of peace. The water I am swimming on was calm. Not a single tide, not a single wave.
Dream
2. a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.
I dream of going to work without fear.
I dream of seeing smiles every time there’s a laugh I hear.
I dream of drinking coffee with friends just like old times.
I dream of letting our coffee go cold when me and my new friends meet for the first time.
I dream of seeing new places and be with people who give warm embraces.
I dream of going to the beach, or to another country with yummy beef.
I dream of road trips withCheetos, Karaoke and movies.
I dream of taking photos, in the snow or while picking strawberries.
I dream of a country that is just a little better.
In choosing who will be the next lead, I pray that we all let her.
I dream of a place where children can all get treatment.
A place where children can proudly brag of their achievements.
”Hey cancer! I beat you!”
Because now, they die helplessly from cancer, too.
I dream of a better world, with less fear and less tears.
